The Willow Tea Rooms
The Willow Tea Rooms on Buchanan Street were inspired by the works of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and are modelled on Kate Cranston’s Ingram Street Tea Rooms from the early 1900s, recreating the fabulous interiors from the White Dining Room and the Chinese (Blue) Room. Contrasting colours within the rooms are a distinguishing feature. The White Dining Room is a light, bright room featuring leaded glass and elegant high-backed chairs. Wonder World Soft Play
Our amazing, custom build indoor softplay is designed to stimulate children’s imagination and encourage physical development in a safe and fun environment. Our centre has been fully refurbished and boasts a number of new attractions. Come to Wonder World and lets make memories!
Zoology Building
Aberdeen University has the only large, international collection of zoological specimens in the north of Scotland. The Zoology Museum’s collections are worldwide in scope and cover more than 200 years of biological study at the University. Highlights on display include a stuffed Bengal tiger, great ape skeletons, and historic blue whale limbs and whale skeletons.
